Dolphins day trip

• This is a private tour but is only done early in the morning and afternoon, therefore you should be picked up from your hotel at 6:00am or 2:30pm
• Dolphin day trip offers you the experience of a lifetime, a chance to see the dolphins and even swim with them if the environment allows. The seashore of the fishing village Kizimkazi is the home of several pods of humpback and bottlenose dolphins. The dolphins are officially protected by the 420 km2 Menai Bay Conservation Area, which was set up in 1997 to stop the rapid depletion of fish stocks.

• To add more to your day, we have included a picnic on the Invisible Island to the tour. You get to enjoy the beauty of the Indian Ocean, eat picnic lunch and swim in the beautiful beach and surrounding ocean.

Please note that this tour is subject to weather conditions, we have our people at Kizimkazi village and if the weather is not appropriate we shall inform you on the morning, and we shall postpone it to the next day or after prior communication.

Kizimkazi is also known for its historical site (old mosque) of the 12th century, the earliest evidence of Islam in East Africa, and from that, the village is worth a visit for both natural and cultural reasons.
